{1} Find a kid friendly place to stay. We wanted a place close to parks and the beach. You can find a great house or apartment to rent in many areas on site like www.airbandb.com or other local rental companies.
{2} Find out when the local Farmer's Market is to get fresh delicious produce and treats
{3} Do some research before you go and book anything that will require reservations like a boat tour, massage at a spa, or a spot in a yoga class. I booked two dates with a trainer while on vacation to keep up with my prenatal weight lifting and cardio routine.
{4} Get recommendations from locals on places to go.
{5} If you have dietary restrictions, bring some food with you. We brought Kosher meat with us in a cooler so that we would be able to BBQ.
