Before the holidays we had our first Middle School Art Show. It was set up outside of the choir concert and showcased the work that my students have been doing.
This is the first year that there is an Art Teacher in my current Detroit Charter school and so this is the first time that students get to learn about different artists and art styles. I am teaching using the Element of Art to give them the baseline of skills and vocabulary. The artwork here is from our lessons on color.
